Delete your account
and your data.

The fastest way is from inside the OffChain Wallet app itself:

1. Open the app and unlock with your PIN
2. Tap Settings in the bottom tab bar
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account
4. Confirm by typing DELETE

The deletion is processed immediately. Your account and all server-stored data are wiped. There's nothing to undo. Be sure you've transferred any remaining crypto first, since self-custody keys are deleted along with the account.

Include in the email body either:

1. The phone number you registered with (for phone-mode accounts), OR
2. The device ID shown in the app's Settings (for anonymous-mode accounts)

We'll confirm receipt within 2 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days, in line with GDPR and similar data-protection standards.

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:

1. Your phone number and email address (if provided)
2. Encrypted private keys for every chain you've used (Ethereum, BSC, Arbitrum, Base, Solana, Bitcoin, TON)
3. Your PIN hash and biometric enrollment
4. All wallet addresses tied to your account
5. Your transaction history as stored on our backend
6. Linked shipping address, OffChain Secure email, TOTP secret
7. SMS command history and any cached AI chat history
8. Push notification tokens and device identifiers

Some data persists for legal, technical, or accounting reasons:

1. Blockchain transactions: once broadcast to Ethereum, Solana, Bitcoin, etc., they are public and immutable. We cannot remove them and neither can anyone else.
2. Aggregated, anonymous server logs: error logs, performance metrics, and abuse-prevention records, with all personal identifiers stripped, are retained up to 12 months.
3. Financial records for purchases made through partner integrations (Bitrefill gift cards, Sp3nd shopping). These are held by the respective partner under their own retention policies and applicable tax/accounting law.
4. Anti-fraud records: minimal hashed identifiers we retain to prevent re-registration for abuse-banned accounts. Up to 7 years where required by financial-services regulation.

OffChain is a self-custody wallet. Deleting your account also deletes the keys to any crypto held in the wallet.

If you have crypto sitting in the wallet that you haven't transferred out, those funds will be permanently lost when the keys are deleted. There is no recovery. We don't keep backups of your keys.

Before requesting deletion:

1. Open the app, go to each chain's balance
2. Send any remaining crypto to another wallet you control (exchange, hardware wallet, another OffChain account, etc.)
3. Confirm balances are zero across all chains
4. Then proceed with deletion

If you exported your seed phrase, you can also restore the wallet in any other compatible app later. The keys aren't gone forever in that case, just removed from our servers.

1. In-app deletion: immediate. The moment you confirm, the deletion runs against our database and the account is gone.
2. Email request: confirmation within 2 business days, full deletion completed within 30 days. We'll send you a final confirmation email once everything is wiped.
3. Backups and replicas: automated backups roll off within 35 days of the deletion. After that, your data is gone from every system we operate.
